Rare IBM Electronic Selectric XYD Typewriter in Arabic font

🟥 DESCRIPTION
Vintage IBM Typewriter likely to be a 1960s model from what I’ve seen online. Arabic letters make it rare. Typewriter types out stuff in Arabic and pretty sure keyboard was not added later on as it appears to be from the exact same period. Not many would've been made in the factory in Amsterdam and I haven't seen one online exactly similar to this apart from a Hebrew alphabet one from the ‘60s.
🟥 CONDITION
Absolutely no cracks, however there is clear weather damage on the patina due to the typewriter being stored in a garden shed for a long time. Also some cobwebs and dirt inside which I couldn't get to. Doesn't turn on, not sure if it needs a new motor or its a power lead issue or something. Attached a new plug, initially there was some movement but switching it on/off a few times for a Youtube video it went completely dead. Didn't bother disassembling

The typewriter caught the eye of a BBC show called The Bidding Room with Nigel Havers but I was too busy to chase this up. If you wanna come on national television or need free publicity this might be just the ticket!

Those of you not in the UK who are able to send a transporter to collect, that’s fine as long he/she can meet in person to pay in cash. Cannot deliver as it is too heavy and don’t have transportation. All my items are from a smoke and pet free home.
