How do I post an ad?
Click the "Post a free Ad" link in the top right hand corner, then choose a category for your ad. Fill in all the fields, click preview, then click submit. A confirmation email will be sent to your address. You will need to click on an activation link in the confirmation email or you wont see your ad listed.
Why is it slow when I post ads with photos?
You can only upload photos under one megabyte. The bigger the file, the slower it is to upload. Use a program to make the photo smaller before uploading to speed things up.
I placed an ad but it's not showing in the listings!
Check your email's inbox for the confirmation email, if it's not there, look in the junk folder of your inbox. Once you locate the confirmation email, click on the activation link inside the email and your ad should go live.
How do I edit my ad?
You can edit your ad by clicking on “My Ad”, then entering your login details.How can I change my photos?
First click on "My Ad". Login to your ad and click "Edit images". From there you can upload and delete photos.
Can I post links?
You can post links, but do not post links to similar websites.
How can I delete my ad?
Click on “My Ad”. Enter your login details (Ad Number & password) then click “delete ad”. Click "Yes" to confirm and then submit. Your ad will be deleted.My ad has fallen down the list. Can I bump it to the top?
Yes! All you need to do is:
- Click My Ad at the top of the Home page.
- Enter your ad number and password.
- Click the Login button.
- Click Preview.
- Click Submit.
Your ad will now be on the top of the category list again! You can do this again once six hours has passed.
How do I report dodgy ads?
There is a "Report Abuse" link on every ad. Click on it the link and fill in the form.Do you have any safety tips?

I have been scammed out of money! What do I do?
You should NEVER send money to anyone. This website is for face to face trading only. However if you have been scammed out of money some how by using this website, the first thing to do is to report it to the Police. Secondly use the report button on the ad to notify us of the scam ad. We will fully help the police with their investigation.
How do I enable/disable Disqus comments on my ad?
To change Facebook comment settings on your ad, do the following;
- Click 'My Ad' at the top of the CrazyOz home-page.
- Enter your ad number and password then click login.
- Scroll down to where it reads 'Public Comments' and click either 'on' or 'Off'.
- Click Preview.
- Click Submit.
Tips for writing a personals ad
Add a photo to your ad.
As the saying goes, “A picture is worth 1000 words”, so if you have a photo of yourself, use it! You are more than 10 times more likely to get a reply if your ad includes a photo of yourself. It will also save the heartache and time of meeting someone who is superficial and doesn’t like the way you look too. If you are shy or have some other reason for not posting a photo then you should give a description of what you look like. Things to mention are: Ethnicity, height, hair colour, body type (slim, athletic, curvy, etc).How do you spend your spare time?
Mention what you like to do in your spare time and be honest about it too. Don’t say you like going out dancing on the weekends when you would much rather be at home watching TV or surfing the Internet. Liars always get caught in the end and you risk looking like a fool.
What are you looking for?
Put down what you seek in a partner. Do you want your partner to be tall? Short? Thin? Cuddly? Should your partner have the same interests as you? Do you want them to be rich? Average? Just put down what you are looking for and it’ll save your time and other peoples time and you never know, you might meet your dream partner here on CrazyOz :-)Never judge a book by its cover
You could meet a person with a great photo who looks even better in real life, but once you talk to them and get to know them, they could say things that will make you never want to see their pretty face again!
